lesson 32 - lonely, i no longer am. and i believe you too, my good friend

Assalamualaikum wbt

among the main culprit of one behaviours though can be arguably be said due to syaitan, but for me it was raised by feeling of loneliness. 

being alone, one would then tried to fill up his/her time to what it being 'set' to, either be in accordance to their 'favourite activities'. anything that could be planned to cover up the loneliness are not quantifiable and can be ranging to the simplest idea to even complicated ones. 

and how it could possibly be despite Allah in Surah Qaaf (50) verses 16 said "It was We who created man and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him; for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein"

is it us who tried to be far from Him despite He is near to us?

is it us who choose to ignore despite Him being with us?

i left these to you and to me to find it out.

insyaAllah we will find the answer if we verily seek Him.

ESQ - a memorandum

assalamualaikum...

last weeken, during ESQ intermediate training at MATRADE, there is a briefing for the alumni to understand what would be the changes in the ESQ Basic Training after being commented by few parties on the content of ESQ Basic Training. News or rumours saying  that ESQ is part of the "ajaran sesat" as per chit chatting of the one who haven't undergone the training itself is true. In fact major part of the content is still the same while the changes is due to the needs of further explaination. i wont't comment further about the news but one thing that all have to take note, it is not because of ESQ or the trainer who change the people, it is up to the participant to understand , use and apply what they was shown within 3 days of training and find their path closer to Allah. Allah will only give the light to those who wanted it.

upon the briefing, the alumni of ESQ 165 gathered a memorandum to Dr. Ary Ginanjar Agustian through one of Dr. Ary's trainer, Mr. Legisan Sugiman to show support in whatever Dr. Ary will do on the content of the training. we do believe that Dr. Ary upon guidance of Allah, will do his best not for the sake of profit, but for the sake of letting other people undescribeable experience towards achieveing something that can't be bought by money...

there are lots of ways on having more faith and love towards Allah. and i do believe ESQ is one of the ways and yes, it must be supported by other activity. tak guna g ESQ, tp tak perubahan dalam diri dan luar, 5 perkara dan apa yg disebut dalam al-Quran and Sunnah tak dibuat.

bangkitlah rakan2 dengan apa cara sekali pon. its time for us to shape this world to be a better world for everyone..

new vision, new perspective, and new heart

assalamualaikum...

i went to esq public at the summit hotel last weekend, i got new perspective of what should i do, i have a more clearer vision, and more understanding of the concept brought by esq team. even the content is the same, since it is after all basic training, yet, there is something to be learnt, ponder and believe..as God said, knowledge that we know is incomparable with His knowledge, and we never be able to be like Him, the perfect one.

one that went to esq training, would somehow know that esq brings the concept of what we already learnt in primary school, what are the pillar of faith, and pillar of islam (action), yet, we dun really applied it to our real life, example? all of u i believe, pray to God, 5 times a day, yet does the praying that you did in 22 years (for me) change you in a way that God ask you to be? no? what we did is only a ritual that are being implemented in the education system and here we are, after several years, doing the same ritual with unconsciously agreed that there are a 'split' or barrier in life and religion...

goin tru the same modul for 2 days, (first day 'keje'), i do think i be able to understand, believe and feel that there are values called Asma'ul Husna that are meant for Him, within ourselves, since we are afterall His greatest creation. With these values, and 7 core values highlighted by ESQ, we are able insyaAllah, to meet Him in great condition di syurga, building a great nation, company, family and world, and in short, be able to be Great Person in every field that we do..this is when, we have spiritual commitment to Him the All Mighty, and spiritual integrity, and become legendary leader to create a better world...

the time is short,yet lots of thing need to be done...
with that, those angkatan UTP 1, do go for other session of ESQ, in material, your fees will reduced to half, trice and bla2...in understanding, more thing will be understand and insyaAllah, u will understand, believe and feel what need to be understand, believe and feel...

i am proud to be civil engineer

kenapa aku begitu fanatik ngan civil engineering eventho dis discipline dah ada kat dunia beribu2 tahun? kenapa aku tak go for oil and gas for my final year, yg ada byk duit to be offered? kenapa aku sanggup kata aku xmo keje ngan petronas eventho aku bonded with them?

only one reason, im proud to be civil engineer...i like to draw, i like to build something, i like to talk, i like to think and be critical and creative, i like to see things, i like challenges, i like to be in tense (not too much pls) and civil engineering offered dis kind of oppurtunities...

from forum 'nilai belia dan kepimpinan masa depan' by ESQ chaired by Pak Ary and Tun Mahathir, i do realise, it is time for us to build our own civilization..but with wat? this is where 7 values introduced by ESQ come in handy...civilization of humankind, where honesty, responsibility, visionary, discipline, cohesiveness, fair and care would shape the people and make earth to be a better place to live...




yes, we do need building, where civil engineering come in handy (yey~) but, even we strive for more towards physical, like economy and materials, we would end up like america where right now, all system in america collapse...everything dat pepel in america do, is based on physical and self satisfaction and not for greater of people...

so, let us build dis nation, our beloved country, with values, so our child (ehem), can live more freely and more safe...do put dis value inside our heart, and insyaAllah, He will do his part of guiding us for greatness...

seems that there are some frequent issues regarding the ESQ trening that i might be able to elaborate more here...

1. bang/akak/cik adik, nk pg tp kurangnya budget utk kali ni
• utp dh sponsor bout rm175 utk korg whereby total fees per person adalah 350..dengan sarapan, teh pg, tghari, and teh petangn disediakan, 25 makan korg adalah cukup kot...korg juga akan diberikan sijil which is RECOGNIZED by the big company not only in MALAYSIA yet at other contries (baca: this trening is worldwide accepted and being conducted)
• rm199 is only paid for ONE time and u can enter the SAME trening all over again in FIVE different locations (KL, JB, Penang, Selangor + Tganu kot) in malaysia for a monthly basis (refer scheduled timetable by ESQ Trening at their web)
  
• kepada geng2 aku, bole je aku pinjamkan duit utk korg pg..aku bukan loan sharks..haha..asalkan korg rasa mmg nk pg, x salah pinjam duit ngan org...
  
2. aku rasa cam aku ada hal a time tu bro..siyes aku nk pg
• this rm199 is only applicable to dis coming trening..klo korg nk pg kat luar, the fees is totally different..kenapa? sbb utp sapot utk kali ni...
• as long as u have the ALUMNI card, and at dat time ada hal, korg dh bole pg other trening with FREE since korg ada card..
  
3. segan lak aku nk g ngan korg...cam terasa diri ni tak cukup layak lg..

• this esq trening dat coming to utp is design for a student..which means from 18-25..content dia dh design to fit our thinking...nk lari lg? :P

5. aiseh, sabtu ahad ke? cam clash ngan coQ and aku pon rasa nk blk lak...

6. aku tak nmpk kenapa aku kena pg...
• one thing big companies are looking now are totally not on ur CGPA(capacity for knowledge IQ)...but it is more towards how ur thinking skills (which is EQ), integrity (again EQ), and principle (SQ)...
• one question of competency based interview for petronas interview is like dis: how fast do u learn? and my answer would be like this...(totally not like this during the interview) if somehow that have high motivation (EQ), not influenced by the what would he get by the end of the month (SQ), like to do wat he/she want (EQ), able to communicate well (EQ), and willingness to accept the knowledge (IQ)...

byk term kan post ni? aku pon rasa aku pening..haha...anyway, just put ur thought on dis...i never do well in promoting pepel eventho for 4 years kat utp, aku adalah promotion guy..bg aku, cukup a ngan design aku wat...maybe deep down inside, aku x rasa mende ni nk bgus both tuk aku and org len..yet for dis one, changes my 2 frens, wake me up...and u might be like them too...

why i should go for ESQ

what is ESQ at the first place?

in a simple sentence, this esq trening is trening where normal pepel is being 'taught' on how to interact with other pepel or use their skills that they have well + answers what are the reasons when you do one thing at a time (sounds complicated?)

during dis trening, we will be introduced to a series of so-called example in pictures, videos and few words from Al-Quran insyaAllah to ensure that kita bole understand and menghayati the concept of ESQ...

the advantages

1. a certificate provided by ESQ Training Centre
2. ADDED value to your RESUME (big companies = PETRONAS is currently sending their top managers to ESQ trening, so if u join this course, it meant that you are serious in term of your character building)
3. a DISCOUNT by UTP (utp is giving subsidy about 50% from exact amount of RM350..tak penah utp baik cam ni doh...haha...)
   
4. become ESQ Alumni (can join the same course all over again at 5 different location at malaysia for FREE)
5. this trening is acceptable worldwide
6. be able to use the correct combination of IQ, EQ and SQ in daily life processes
   
7. somehow insyaAllah, you are being free of limitations and inner questions like "why am I doing this", "taleh blah siak wat mende ni" and etc2

example wise?
a simple example for us the students..talking bout IQ where intelligence is concern, i dun have a comment since i do believe that utp students are quite bright themselves..no doubt...ur results do not relate with ur intelligence..it is how you use your intelligence would relate to your results..this is what we called Emotional quotient or EQ...u wanna study and dun wanna to study, is totally you who decide...and the reason on why you study is what we called Spiritual quotient..do you study because your father asked you to or because it is your obligation that you study? what are your end point of your study? would you be able to contribute back to other after you study?

can we give answers for these questions? we might be..just be a part of us...

again, sounds complicated?
huhu...come and join us...you would get more of it...

ESQ in town

apa aku tau psl esq? since tak penah join, apa yg aku tau dr mmber aku adalah, somehow kita akan belaja on how to blend emotional and spiritual elements together with thinking/intellectual. and some of the inner potential i.e. intellectual limitation insyaAllah akan terhapus. lg apa aku tau? erm...this ESQ is based on ESQ 165 where 1 tu ehsan i.e. bertuhan, 6 rukun iman dan 5 rukun islam. tho dia mengambil ajaran islam, it is also applicable to all. (sile rujuk poster and website)

example of intellectual limitation: ko sedang wat satu keje and your objective of doing that work is merely about the benefit that you'll be getting and etc2...so ESQ come into the picture, we are not limiting our objective just to ourselves and rather we successfully put a larger scope of objective. i.e. the development of world, our religion and etc2.. when our objective is no more limited by small2 things like money, self praise and bla2, our productivity is getting better and thus, what we originally and not originally meant by doing our work would be able to achieve...

sounds complicated? nah...

SO, by the end of trening, kita be able to balance IQ, EQ and SQ in our daily life + bole merefine our inner values (tgk kat web ESQ ada 7 values tu) and know how to preserve it again in our daily life...
