first outing

ever since dh ada kamera ni, kire somehow ada a rasa skit kelayakan nk join group2 kakiphoto di UTP ni..sebelum ni xde kamera, so cam segan gak a...haha..so last weekend, setelah diajak mekot berkali2 and berkali2 aku x pg, akhirnya join a jugak...in a way, bes gak join mende ni, since ko nmpk apa org len wat...cane diorg setting seme...so by the end of the day, bile tgk gamba diorg, somehow bru faham a, ouh cani ke...and bla2...

so aku ada gak a amik gambo skit2...xde a spro diorg g, tp bole a nk stat letak kat blog ni...org kata, blog aku ni byk tulisan dr gamba...haha..tatau a kan..cincai sudah...so kat bwh ni adalah gamba2 yg aku rasa layak utk disharekan kepada korg....

lesson 10 - fate

assalamualaikum wbt...

it has been a long time since me stop giving lesson...haha..cam bagus je kasi lesson kat org...

somehow, after being influenced by myself watching ryokiteki na kanojo or my sassy girl, a japan series, i watched again the my sassy girl, a korean movie...this movie, somehow was out back in my early days of utp, yet after watching it for err so many times, yah, i do like this movie...maybe more than the previous one...

both the series and movie has one thing in common, (it is not about the storyline or watever) but something that all of us can learn something which is fate. based on this story, the movie said that fate is somehow building a bridge of change for something that are important to you while the series stated that fate is somehow changing your problem into the opportunity.

wat can be learned from this sentence? an easy meaning would be, you are incharge of your action which has been stated by Allah S.W.T which means "He won't change fate of a certain race unless they tried to change it themselves" (do correct me if im wrong).

as an example, you are in a bad term with someone, the time has passed by and you do hope that things would get better soon and yet, you are still at the same spot where you hv been. make a move and just say hi or salam...it doesn't matter wat are his/her reaction, just keep talking...as long as you speak normally, like nothing happen, and show your friendly-ness, insyaAllah, Allah will help you...and ouh, by the end of the conversation, do apologize..it helps too...

as the conclusion, my sassy girl - the movie is still my fav movie...afterall eh..haha...and the series are quite boring..tp bru episode 4...(cam salah conclusion), in a short word, make something and bertawakal pada Allah...

13th Yogyakarta Gamelan Festival

Assalamualaikum wbt...

this coming 10-12 July 2008, there would be some event in yogyakarta which is 13th Yogyakarta Gamelan Festival. In a way, UTP Gamelan Group are being so-called invited to this gamelan festival and where this gamelan festival consist of few concerts, seminar, discussions, workshops, exhibitions and gamelan broadcasts...

our intention for dis festival would be to be able to perform on the stage rather than just participate as the normal participant (go to exhibition and stuff)....thus, wat we are doing right now would be sending our vids to the organizer so dat they will accept as part of the performers...this in a way is the biggest platform UTP Gamelan to stand tall with other gamelan group in this world...^^v..this is also a very gud opportunity for us as malaysian delegation, to show our culture and also our songs to other gamelan members from all over the world...

one of the problem during the festival itself would be, our instrument are quite different from the javanese instrument where both sound and scale are different..this give problems when we are playing...bunyi agak x best a..thus, we decided to bring along our instrument from UTP to Yoyja...alang2 menyeluk perkasam, bia sampai ke pangkal lengan...haha..cam tu a...

to achieve dis one, currently we are searching for possible sponsor and from here, we also hv some so-called interesting benefit to the sponsor...and frankly speaking, i do wish that the senior and the readers can contribute a small portion to our funding...xyah byk, satu ratus sorg sudah...or kongsi reramai pon bole... ^^v

an end of something

assalamualaikum....

well...it is now the period of so called study week whereby we gonna cram our head with 14 weeks worth of knowledge...it is tough but at the same time, it is fun...to learn all the knowledge...haha..thinking positive here....before gonna go up and write bout the exam and stuff, yet, due to the promise of my sweet-little student, here, im gonna post your pictures...

[hope u find it amusing...haha..still a newbie in photography world...especially in dslr world la kot...]

for the fact that this semester, i were 'attached' to class 8-10, is rather not my usual timetable..waking early in morning, go to class and teach them my favorite things, its bother me for some time...yet, after seeing how much it remind me of my gamelan 2 class in early days, it is fun..to see how 'young' people struggle themselves to learn something new...a thing dat they never heard or touch at the first place...

some of them, show a slow potential [ehem] yet there are few people showing quite a talent...i guess, it is up to teacher's ability to bring out their student ability..myb im not gud enough, resting for 8 months from gamelan really wear me off..i think..haha...

i guess, i did try my best...im so sorry if u didnt get the so-called knowledge/expertise from me...the same also applies for teaching in class, if the lecturer really give their best in teaching, mybe we should do something to pay attention...except for d fact dat some of lecturer are really malas hanjing dalam mengajar, yet we hv to try our best to study..haha...
