lesson 9 - question and answer (1)

assalamualaikum and gud evening at this time....

i promise to one of my jnrs to write something regarding fyp, specialize and also intern since there are some pepel asking the following question:

1. "amik pe for specialize? how can we decide?best ke?"
first and foremost, what are d field dat u interested of....and for d jnrs, do think from now, or else you get lots of headache to decide when u r going for internship...if wanna go for petroleum, then choose a related company for intern and after dat, also go for related specialization. But, if somehow, u went for a company dat r unrelated to ur interest, and final year, you take ur interest..sure there is no problem...

in a way, if you in a line with your interest, you are more prepared mentally for dat course, you are happy to learn dat subject..if not, somehow your knowledge are getting broader which also good...there is no correct answer for wat specialize should u take...

observe the current market and also wat are your interest...and just go, there is a job in this world for you...as for is it interesting, if u enjoy everything doesnt matter anymore....

2. "final year, fyp wat pe? why did u go for dat one?"
erm, the thing is, ur fyp somehow can be related to specialize or can be not...as for civil engineering, the field are quite broad yet the specialize is quite limited....

for me, i go for geotechnical engineering for my fyp and for specialize, i go for building construction..it is somehow related in a way...having a related fyp and specialize somehow strengthen your knowledge in dat area and also your resume...but having separate fyp and specialize also gud, since your knowledge again are broaden....

i love geotech...since its more complicated than other field...or mainly structure..to understand the nature are quite troublesome than human made...dats what interest me the most....

to choose this, see the lecturer when the topic are out, ask them and slowly decide from what you have heard...develop your own interest...and your fyp can be done smoothly...whether or not you wanted to propose your own topic like what im doing, it is another topic...

3. "intern cane?"
well, intern are quite fun....if u are pet scholars, your future somehow is limited to only pet...so if u are so dying to work for pet, go for pet during intern...if somehow, you had eye on something, go for dat company....

what matters during intern is knowledge gain and applied...do seek job during intern....and show your commitment to your work..yes, it is okay if doesnt have job for few weeks, but it can be danger if it continues....let think dat u been paid because u are doing a great job....

what ever that you take, never regrets later since that is the path that you choose...if u dunnoe how to choose..then, ask for help...from HIM...he's knows everything..even though He didnt tell you, but at least, u did ask Him for direction....we are not sahabat thus, our doa are somehow hard to reach Him...

He is the most gracious....

[my auntie die dis morning..she was like my second mother back when im still form 2..since my school and house are quite far, klang n kuantan, so she always visit me...al - fatihah]

is it....

assalamualaikum....

in this few months, there are something big running inside my head...it is quite impossible to do by looking at the current situation...yet, if just go and without thinking a little further, there are some people might get hurt due to that action...but, if we just proceed, at the end of the day, it would reduce some headache in the future and give some kind of happiness to the unaffected victims...yet, to the victims, they will surely hate me...i think...

or rather than eliminate them, still we can rotate them...but im not so sure with this...even with the current strength, complaints do come...with double strength, im didnt how it would turn up to...

making choices is tough...esp when it related to others feeling...the more we knew them, the harder it will get...buts dats life isn't it farhan?

somehow, we can sacrifice the minority for d greater good...its sound noble but its not in the real world...being a bad guy is not a problem...yet it hurts sometimes....huu...maybe i'll wait for more signal..yet the clocks is ticking...aih...pretty crap....

Allah, give me wisdom and strength....

huuuuhhh....

assalamualaikum....

somehow letting go can be too hard..especially that thing is something that u really into it....yet for me, dats something is already a part of me...being able to enjoy, to live, to hear and to play with it for the past 4 years and somehow, there is clash of interest....

dinner batch is not something i look forward to since i'm not so frenly with others...haha...yet, my frens and i are always go everywhere, enjoying ourselves...yeah, it is true that dis dinner batch means that u would be able to gather with other than ur close fren, but when i compare dinner batch and gamelan, the difference are too big...

having a third opinion from snr that already been graduated also is a problem..they also seems to hv a different ans from each other...aih... (--)"

maybe i just go to dinner batch....maybe something good will happen..hoping for...and trust my jnrs to play...haha..they will have a hell of training than....jnr2 ku sile bersedia k....

p/s this is the 25th post of my blog..sori for not being able to make it more interesting..deciding is a hard part...especially those option where u hv an interest to...just take some opinion, let ur heart decide and just go...insyaAllah...

a post to UTP gamelan players

assalamualaikum....

rather than talking bout d 16th event of my UTP Gamelan which is at Palace of Golden Horses, yet lets move to a bigger topic that are hanging in my head for d past 3, 4 semester. Being a final year means that ur time at UTP are closed to end..and somehow, u need to ensure that the LEGACY being brought down by your seniors are being passed down to the new generation.

rather than having a small number of players, now UTP Gamelan have nearly 40 players which give us a quite headache...haha...so within this one year, I as the senior member of UTP Gamelan and the one being trusted to hold firm on this family, would like to instill these values to the other players...it is rather helpful if u read it through....

and the values are rather simple and listed below
  1. Become a part of our FAMILY, interact, smiling, usik², asking question, giving suggestion and DO enjoy while u are in the family and DO NOT stick only with your friends
  2. Play gamelan to ENJOY...enjoy the music, enjoy being with the family, enjoy the training, enjoy to perform and enjoy by committing yourself.
  3. Try to be a DEWA/DEWI by having a hunger in gamelan
  4. If you have a problem, do rise it out, do not TALK BAD bout others since we are a family.
Yeah, for d past 3, 4 years, we the senior members are expose to this so-called values and we do hope, this LEGACY can be pass down to the next generation...by playing gamelan with your closed family, it is good...refreshing...and lots of good memory will be able to be produced...lots of picture can be taken too...haha....

play it right, enjoy it right and you are in the right track...
insyaAllah
